POSITION SUMMARY
The Solution Consultant for Kubix Link is the project leader and key contributor in implementing Lectra’s Kubix Link solution for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the Solution Consultant are:
• Engaging with clients to identify needs and define high-level requirements.
• Translating clients’ requirements into detailed functional and technical designs.
• Facilitating alignments between design and development based on requirements.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
• Supporting the development team by clarifying requirements and resolving issues.
• Verifying technical feasibility and supporting the execution of UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Training the client's project team on initial training, implemented solution, initial loading, and post go-live support (part of hypercare).
• Managing project timelines and resources.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building trust.
• Managing communication with stakeholders.
• Conducting project kick-off and establishing governance.
• Overseeing timelines, budgets, scope, and quality to ensure project success.
• Monitoring progress, ensuring readiness for each phase.
• Collaborating with solution consultants and development teams to define the project scope and boundaries.
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Managing the Change Request process.
• Managing the project budget and financial aspects.
• Reporting on project status.
PROFILE
• Master’s degree in one of the following fields: software engineering, computer science, digital technologies, electronics, Information Systems or related area will be required.
• 5 years or above working experience will be a minimum, including 3 years as solution consultant in the field of “enterprise” software solutions’ implementation such as PLM/PDM, ERP, CRM, etc.
• Experience in Fashion industry is a plus, along with the number of different positions occupied covering different levels of the product lifecycle management (Line Planning, Costing, Creation, Pattern design, Manufacturing, Sourcing…).
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Business knowledge: capacity to understand fashion clients' needs and fashion processes (design, development, merchandising, supply chain, quality).
• Fashion Technology Fluency: capacity to understand key processes and technologies relevant to the fashion industry, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, particularly in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
• Solution design knowledge: ability to create effective solutions tailored to meet specific client needs, including defining a data model and contributing to the integration of the solution within existing systems and processes.
• Requirements management: capacity to effectively collect, formalize, and validate requirements from stakeholders and translate them into specifications to ensure that all needs are accurately captured and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholders management: ability to effectively communicate with, lead, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative project success and alignment with customer needs.
• Project Planning: ability to develop comprehensive project plans that encompass risk management, budgeting, cost control, performance monitoring, and overall project timelines.
• Project Management Processes, Methodology, Tools & Softwares: proficiency in applying project management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure project quality, manage change, and incorporate customer feedback effectively.
• Organizational Skills: ability to effectively manage resources, time, and documentation to ensure that projects operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Fluency in English is a must.
TRAVEL
• The position is remote in New York City or Atlanta — open to remote candidates in EST
• Up to 50% to client sites and HQ visits
