Position Summary:
This summer, you will contribute to a foundational initiative aimed at transforming how we build software — advancing our AI capabilities from supportive copilots to fully autonomous development agents. This is an ambitious, long‑term vision, often described as creating a “self‑driving” software lifecycle. To achieve it responsibly, we are building the system incrementally, one dependable component at a time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
During your 10‑week internship, you will take ownership of a well-defined, high‑impact portion of the architecture. This could include developing a pipeline that converts Jira acceptance criteria into structured AI prompts, prototyping rule‑based logic for an automated quality gate, or implementing AI observability and logging capabilities. This is not a theoretical exercise — your work will be production‑oriented and will form part of the foundation our engineering teams rely on day to day.
Additional Activities:
Additional activities can include but not be limited to:
- AI Assistant (Lectra Internal Chatbot) - Support and remediations
- Lectra Design System (MUI react) - Support and remediations
- LiteLLM Proxy & Model management and deployments
PROFILE:
- Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate program; GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale desired
- Languages: JS, Python
- Frameworks (a plus): LangGraph, LangChain, Agno, LangFuse
- Familiarity with: Generative AI (usage, models, training), MCP, Jira, Gitlab
