- Position Summary:
The Pre Sales Consultant (Kubix Link) is a key contributor in selling Lectra’s solutions to our prospects and customers. He / She analyzes and understands the clients’ stakes, needs and environment, in order to meet their business and technical needs and goals. He/she will work very closely with the Sales team to promote and demonstrate the value of our products.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Qualify the opportunities and define the proposals to answer customer needs in collaboration with the account manager, from the beginning of the pre-sales stage until the end of the negotiation;
- Work closely with customers to understand and capture their requirements, and to identify their main expected outcomes;
- Demonstrate the value proposition of our solutions and convince the customer through preparation and delivery of outstanding presentations, Kubix Link/Software demonstrations, trials and benchmarks;
- Put together business cases with the account managers to support the proposals, including payback analysis and added value that will bring the solution to the customers’ business;
- Ensure the handover of the project to delivery teams;
- Analyze competitors’ ecosystem and solutions.
- EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Fashion industry, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering, Economics or related area will be required;
- 10 years or above working experience will be a minimum, with direct relevant sales or pre sales, consultancy or industrial experience in Fashion or IT related industry, ideally covering similar market as Lectra’s offer.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid 4.0 industry expertise and knowledge in Fashion digital transformation ,in terms of business evolutions & challenges and common operational issues;
- Strong consultative sales approach and capability to translate features into benefits that resonate with customers challenges;
- Ability to create a desire for Lectra’s solutions and to engage the customer emotionally by creating a preference to buy our solution;
- Capability to assess business processes (manufacturing or design processes for instance) and to identify how our solutions will improve them;
- Capability to identify financial impacts of customers’ current practices and processes and to build business cases with different scenarios in order to emphasize on the actual added-value (financial and technical) of Lectra’s solutions;
- Real team player and strong ability to handover complex projects to delivery and technical teams;
- Passionate with technology and high ability to influence and inspire various stakeholders (C-Level, middle management, operations, etc.)
- TRAVEL:
- The position is based in Osaka/Tokyo and covers whole Japan region from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
- There will be 50% of travel to customer sites/Lectra offices
