1.Position Summary:

The Planner will be responsible for appropriate production planning and material plan. Upload forecast and run MRP in time, and updated in time if any change. 

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main responsible for implement customer forecast in SAP, ensure correct demanding in system

  • Support Material Manager in appropriate production planning
  • Work Order release (MRP purchasing/production orders)
  • Maintain and update production orders timely (e.g., NCR etc.)
  • Overall management of call off material
  • Support Material Manager on logistic cycle time reduction and material exposure reduction program.
  • Material inventory control

 

Tasks:

  • Judge feasibility of customer forecast
  • Actively track and re-schedule orders, managing backlog hours continuously
  • Continuously checking availability and shortages for planned System’s orders; indicate in early stage which items are potentially delaying system planning and mitigate risks with parts planners or purchasers
  • Taking lead to confirm re-scheduling actions, through the re-scheduling process procedure
  • Confirm MRP purchase and production orders for timely availability to start System Planning on time
  • Engage call off material to ensure timely availability to start Systems Planning on time
  • Execute and manage material transfer administration, and Material borrowing and returning
  • Drive logistics administration maintenance in Baan: Transfers, Rescheduling, Cancellations, Folder and Project closing.
  • Support Program manager on ECO execution for order/inventory status and delivery schedule impact.
  • Support Program manager on quick response actions to recover the delivery schedule.
  • Support Program manager on cycle time reduction and material exposure reduction program. 
  • Develop appropriate monitoring tools and techniques to improve planning effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Fulfill the requirements for any related works assigned by company.

3.PROFILE

  • Bachelor Degree or equal educational level.

  • Major in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Production Management.

  • Minimum 4 years ERP-system user experience with global ERP-system (preferably SAP)

  • Experienced Microsoft Office -Excel user

  • Preferably experience with planning modules besides ERP-systems

  • Professional level of speaking and writing in English

  • Strong analytical skills, drawing conclusions based on facts

  • Organized and structured way of working, providing clear information

  • Problem solving skills, think in solutions rather than problems

  • Sense of business acumen, understanding business and business situations

  • High sense of ownership
