POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be based in Portugal and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the subsidiary. The HRBP is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, providing tactical and strategic HR support to specific business units. The HRBP will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. The role involves a deep understanding of the business and its goals, translating them into actionable HR initiatives that drive performance.
As part of matrix organization, the HRBP will also support Talent Acquisition activities across the EMEA region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Partnership:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.

Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.

Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering insights and coaching on HR best practices.
Talent Management:
-
Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
-
Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs; follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

Lead and manage the annual performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

Assist managers in creating performance improvement plans and provide support in addressing performance-related issues.
HR Policy & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.

Partner with legal and regulatory teams to manage risk and ensure HR practices comply with employment laws.

Update and develop HR policies in line with changes in legislation.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, working closely with legal as required.
Compensation & Benefits:

Provide guidance on compensation strategies and market analysis to ensure competitive pay structures.

Manage employee benefits programs and advise employees on benefits-related issues.
Recruitment & Selection:

Partner with hiring managers to define job roles and requirements, ensuring job descriptions are accurate and reflect the needs of the business.

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, to ensure a seamless and efficient candidate experience.

Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify and attract high-quality candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.

PROFILE
Our ideal candidate will have the following profile:
-
At least 5 years of experience in HR with at least 2-3 years in a business partner or management role.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

High Level experience in Talent Acquisition Activities.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.

Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, namely SAP Success Factors will be a plus ;

Good command of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, etc.);

Fluency in English is required;

The position is based in Porto.

Occasional Travel is required.
