In January of 2023, Lectra acquired 51% of TextileGenesis. As a major player in the fashion, automotive, and furniture markets, Lectra contributes with boldness and passion to the Industry 4.0 revolution by providing software, equipment, data, and services to brands, manufacturers, and retailers.
We are currently looking for a Busienss Development Manager in the Northeast Sector of the United States to support new and exsisting business clients for TextileGenesis.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for retaining and expanding existing company client relationships.
General tasks and objectives of the role:
- Point of contact for existing and potential clients.
- Demo and present the TextileGenesis solution both in client meetings and in conferences and panels.
- Educate the industry on tokenised fibre forward traceability, ESG risk, transparency and sustainability.
- Independently drive large scale traceability projects.
- Network and engage with industry organisation to grow collaboration and strategic partnerships.
- Engage and take part in internal strategic meetings to develop the TextileGenesis offer and platform.
The profile we are looking for:
- Minimum of 6 plus years’ of work experience as a Development Manager or similar role
- Solid experience from the textile supply chain
- Background of selling and demoing technical solutions for the textile industry
- Preferably located on the East coast of US
- Able to work independently.
- Can think outside of the box and have a proven record of problem solving capability
