Business Developer Manager – TextileGenesis

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, cultivating strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities, while also strengthening and expanding our existing customer base. Previous experience in SaaS sales and a strong understanding of subscription-based business models is highly desirable.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, consultative selling, and excellent communication skills. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering value to clients and positioning our solutions as essential drivers of success in the textile industry.

You excel at building meaningful client connections, navigating complex negotiations, and translating customer needs into tailored solutions. Beyond selling, you will act as a trusted advisor, growth partner, and ambassador for our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective customers.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver customized solutions that add value.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage client contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Sales Development Manager or similar role.
  • Strong background in the textile supply chain, with hands-on experience selling and presenting technical solutions for the textile industry.
  • Preferably experience in SaaS sales with an understanding of subscription-based business models.
  • Based in New York  with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
