Sales Administration Manager (m/w/d)

Position Summary:

The sales administration manager will be responsible of the New orders processing, service contracts and licenses management in accordance with Lectra policies & rules and international business standards.

Based in Ismaning, the role consists of leading, motivating and developing a team of 8 persons located in Germany, Belgium, UK and Portugal in charge of administration and management of customer contracts for the region NEE

He/she will be th interface between customers, sales, and finance teams by supporting the business and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information processing within the ERP from order booking to invoicing.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of the (remote) team, including adjustments on organizational structures
  • Review of contractual documents, processing and invoicing of all types of sales orders and service contracts in close collaboration with Sales and Corporate teams
  • Generating licensing keys with its administrative & logistic activities
  • Monitoring of customers payments in close collaboration with Accounts Receivables departments for the release of products and services to the customers
  • Monitoring the product shipment process including all customs topics in close collaboration with HQ logistic order management teams
  • Management of bank guarantees requested by customers and supporting customers internal purchase order proceedings
  • Supervising monthly preparation of corporate reporting e.g. service contract variations
  • Support of the sales team, agents and regional offices by using the corporate applications
  • Generating contiunous material improvements in efficiency and productivity of the working environments

 

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Strong managerial and people management skills including remote management.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to work in details but also to be engaged in management discussions
  • Very good analytical understanding and solution oriented
  • This position requires excellent communication and management skills in an international organization and a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to handle a multitude of ongoing issues and an incisive mind to ensure the ability to focus on priorities
  • Commercial and business acumen gained through experience in sales or trading area
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to present information in a compelling way
  • Business partnering skills/collaborative style
  • Solid experience in working with ERP (Oracle and SAP) and CRM (SalesForce)
  • Fluent in English and German.

 

Position Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor study or comparable education in finance/administration
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in comparable international structure
  • Disciplinary people management and experience in managing remote teams is mandatory.
  • Proven track record in change management and process improvements.

 

This position involves occassional travel.
