Position Summary
The Technical Implementation Manager will lead internal and external Solution Engineers belonging to the Global Technical Hub the delivery team and ensure resource availability to execute the successful configuration and customization during the implementation phase of our solution (PLM: Kubix Link), for our customers, globally. Reporting to the VP Customer Success Kubix Link, the role emphasizes team empowerment, alignment with business priorities and focus on delivering tailored and high-quality solutions to customers in a fast-paced environment.
The role operates in close alignment with the functional delivery leadership, ensuring that technical execution consistently supports their objectives, customer priorities, and overall delivery commitments.
The role is accountable for ensuring that technical execution is fully driven by project delivery priorities and customer requirements, as defined by the functional leadership of each engagement, translating them into reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop internal technical teams and manage external contractors globally.
- Identify training paths and implement buddy programs to foster knowledge-sharing and team growth.
- Empower the team to develop expertise, ensuring they achieve technical excellence and are equipped to address dynamic challenges.
Resource Availability and Scalability
- Ensure consistent resource availability and establish backup strategies to handle peak periods and critical situations.
- Oversee the dynamic allocation of resources to meet project demands, balancing internal staff and external contractors.
Governance and Quality Assurance
- Establish governance frameworks to maintain quality, consistency, and scalability in technical operations.
- Enforce adherence to standardized methodologies (e.g., TODO/TA) to ensure high-quality documentation and execution.
- Oversee deliverables to ensure alignment with customer requirements, functional project direction, and internal standards.
Support for Critical Projects
- Provide leadership and technical expertise for high-priority implementations, particularly those requiring system integration and customization.
- Participate in customer-facing discussions to address implementation-specific challenges and risks.
- Resolve escalated technical issues and coordinate ad hoc interventions for complex projects.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Delivery Managers to align technical deliverables with project timelines and priorities, ensuring full consistency with the functional leadership of projects and customer-driven requirements.
- Partner with Solution Consultants, PMs, and CSMs to address customer-specific needs and challenges, translating functional requirements into effective technical execution.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for customer discussions, ensuring alignment of expectations and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement
- Introduce innovative tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency and delivery quality.
- Use feedback from customers and teams to refine technical processes and improve project outcomes.
PROFILE
- Strong background in SW engineering, IT.
- At least 10 years’ experience in managing development teams for a SaaS provider or integrator.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor technical teams, including internal and external resources.
- Strong background in system integration and delivering scalable solutions, with experience customizing SaaS platforms for ad hoc customers’ business needs.
- Expertise in dynamic resource planning and ensuring consistent availability of technical teams.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex technical challenges with urgency and precision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with regional stakeholders and customers.
- Experience implementing technical governance frameworks and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with customer satisfaction in high-pressure environments.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions for complex implementations in a customer-facing capacity.
- Native Italian and fluent in English. French is a plus.
Technical skillset:
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and SQL/HQL.
- Experience in using SVN and version control.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and integration systems (ETL, middleware, ERP, PDM, DAM).
