POSITION SUMMARY

Based in Milan, this position will be responsible for all HR related issues for Italy, Tunisia and Morocco. 
The HR Business Partner is acting as generalist managing the HR activities.
In close collaboration with the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will ensure the development, implementation and administration of human resources policies and procedures, with respect to the established corporate strategy and plans, as well as compliance with the individual local laws and regulations of the different countries assigned to. The HR Business Partner will support collaborating with the regional and local management teams to manage changes, give support in personnel development and be a true advisor on any HR related issues. The HR Business Partner will build up a good communication network between management, employees and other parties and support a good employee engagement.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In direct relation with the HR Manager, International HR at headquarters (Paris) and the local management team, the HR Business Partner will perform mainly the following duties:


HR Business Partnering
•    Participate in company organization by making recommendations for actions to be taken based on local procedures and laws
•    Provide assistance on a variety of policies and programs
•    Detect critical issues and manage them with superiors in a timely manner
•    Support the team in personnel development 
•    Provide support during on- and off-boarding

Recruitment, mobility and termination
•    Research best means and tools for recruiting personnel
•    Create and adjust job descriptions
•    Accompany the whole recruitment process from coordinating and scheduling interviews, conduct interviews, contract negotiation
•    Manage termination process (organize departures and conduct exit interviews)
•    Establish close partnerships with schools and universities 

Compensation and benefits
•    Ensure implementation of compensation policies for the team
•    Engage in the employee appraisal process
•    Compare Lectra’s policy and practices to the market to assess the competitiveness of Lectra
•    Support monthly payroll activities and reporting in collaboration with HR Specialist
•    Company car policy management

HR Projects
•    Project Management of HR initiatives (e.g. Employee Engagement, Onboarding, Talent Management)

Social
•    Pro-actively contribute to the development of a correct social climate and ensure a good team environment and employee engagement
•    With the assistance of our attorney and the HR Manager, manage employee relations

Miscellaneous 
•    Mandatory trainings for Health and Safety 
•    Back up of the HR Manager in absence
•    Contact person for external agencies

Additional Information
•    Travelling can be required from time to time (2 to 3 times a year)
•    The HR Business Partner reports to the HR Manager


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
•    5 years of progressive experience as HR Business Partner, preferable in a high technology sector and international company
•    Fluency in Italian and English. French is a big plus
•    Strong hands-on mentality, can-do attitude, adaptability and positive mind set 
•    Must possess the ability to relate to all levels of employees, management 
•    Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
•    Capacity to handle a multitude of ongoing issues and an incisive mind to ensure the ability to focus on priorities
•    Ability to work as part of a team (team-player)
•    High sense of responsibility, discretion and trustworthiness
•    Computer literate (MS Office Suite, AI tools)
•    Ability to quickly understand tasks and what is at stake with an autonomous character

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•    Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration from a high-level University or Business School or adequate qualification
•    Experience in Human Resources Management with a generalist approach
•    Good knowledge of and experience in employment laws and regulations
•    Demonstrated background in Recruiting
