Sourcing Engineer
In direct report to the Mechanical Global Commodity Manager as part of an international team of 20 people, you will manage a purchasing portfolio of commodities based on machining and sheet metal. Your main missions will be the following :
- Ensure purchasing marketing for your Purchasing families
- Participate in drawing up the Purchasing strategy for the Machining and sheet metal commodities and implement it within your scope
- Draw up and implement productivity plans for your supplier panel using all levers (negotiation, consolidation, resourcing, value analysis, etc.)
- Monitor and report on purchasing performance indicators in line with Management and Mechanical commodity objectives.
- Ensure the reliability of your supplier portfolio and guarantee the quality of supplies, services and performances, in collaboration with internal customers.
- Secure the supply chain: anticipate and manage risks, be a driving force behind research into technical alternatives and other supplier sources, bi-sourcing. ..
- Select suppliers
- Participate proactively in specifications, new product development and redesign; integrate suppliers in the upstream design phase
- Negotiate framework contracts and manage contractual conditions via the information system
- Comply with best purchasing practices and internal operating procedures, and support progress plans in our processes and tools
- Work in a collaborative way and iteratively with supply chain players and R&D specifiers.
Job requirements: Regular travel and visit to the suppliers of the portfolio.
PROFILE
With a Master degree in purchasing with a specialization in mechanics, you have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position (in a multi-site and multi-cultural company would be better)

Supply Chain: Knowledge of forecast tools, mastery of Incoterms and flow management tools,
Follow-up: risk prevention plans, supplier management, performance measurement, continuous improvement,
Evolution in a multi-site, multi-cultural matrix purchasing organization

Knowledge of production processes dedicated to mechanical engineering, in particular machining ; different types of machining, foundry and casting processes, plastics processing, etc.
