Solution Consultant

  1. POSITION SUMMARY

This is a key role in Customer Success organization with the responsibility to deliver Lectra manufacturing solution and Professional Service projects to customers. With sound insight and knowledge of Lectra manufacture solution, he/she makes sure the solution is delivered per performance commitment agreed with customers in sales contract. He/she also takes overall responsibility as Project Manager to ensure the delivery is structured, executed, goal achieved and finally customer satisfaction is met.

The role requires knowledge and experiences with soft material cutting industrial solution and project management experience with complex portfolio of projects with ambiguous requirements, together with excellent communication and relational skills. This position works closely with Lectra Sales and Pre-sales as well as other functions of the company.

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Business Consultation Play as expert on Lectra cutting room solutions. Define and design project to ensure the solution is implemented and commitment is met. When there’s difficult issues coming from project delivery, he/she take the leadership to identify right resources to support and remove any roadblock.
  • Project delivery  Project delivery oversight, providing strategic direction and performing escalation management. Collaborate with other Customer Success functions like Call Center and Field Service  to ensure project are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Enforce the Lectra project management rules and guidelines.

    • Coordinate the project activities regarding cost, time and quality objectives
    • Analyze and manage the risks
    • Follow-up and update the planning: manage the project progression
    • Communicate project status and the action plan with the teams and the customer
    • Assist the customer: Issue Management
    • Validate acceptance of the project implementation with customer, closure of the project
  • Performance monitoring Define and monitor key project delivery metrics that measure the progress and success of the project portfolio;
  • Organization Meticulous organizational skills, high attention to detail, spot-on judgement, and a strong customer focus;
  • Communication: Act as one of the main point of contacts for all customer project related topics and deliver regular communications to both Sales Team and Management.
  1. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in mechanical or automation
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in a related industry, including managing complex projects across multiple, globally dispersed work teams
  • Demonstrated ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
  • 6 sigma certification in Lean Manufacturing is strongly desired

  • Fluent English and native level Hindi;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations;
  • Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail;
  • Self-driven and proactive nature;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment;
  • Capacity to develop a relationship in a face-to-face environment.
  1. TRAVEL

The position is based in Bangalore, India

There will be up to 60-70% of travel to customer sites
