Position Summary

 

The primary function of an Inside Sales Associate is to manage sales of Spare Parts and Consumables; focus on retention of existing contracts and win-back of recurring contracts; follow and partner on high-level projects with customers; and support the sales team with opportunities for both new sales and contract renewals.  This position will be responsible for achieving revenues objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop the business of Spare Parts & Consumables within US and associated regions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and promoting sales of Lectra Spare Parts & Consumables to all clients within the region.
  • Assist the team to achieve or exceed the budgeted margin, turnover and volume objectives.
  • Develop aggressively the business increasing market share, creating new reference accounts and carrying out segment penetration.
  • Provide product and service information for clients and colleagues.
  • Strengthen the existing business through regular customer reviews to identify and conclude opportunities.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal staff to resolve issues in a timely manner manage problem resolution tracking and implement new programs.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

  • 1-3 years Sales experience
  • 1-5 years of Customer Service experience
  • Initiating new business or managing existing accounts a plus.
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows XP, and MS Office
  • Associates preferably in Business, or Engineering

 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Spanish speaking. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sales skills (presentations, following up, cold calling, quoting.)
  • Skills in listening to and understanding customer needs and providing quality customer service
  • Skills in planning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks while focusing on priorities.
  • Ability to cope with pressure (without comprising standards) by being well organized.
  • Be commercially aware with sound judgment and have client-facing and business development capabilities
  • Be charismatic, bright, numerate, analytical, creative can-do mentality,
  • Have a high level of adaptability and energy.
  • Have an ability to challenge with clear and coherent arguments along with the ability to achieve respect from technical colleagues.
